internship in hong kong

We want to make sure that you experience the best of Hong Kong during your internship. We know you’ll be working hard during the week, but make sure you take time to explore this amazing city. We’ve picked a few iconic experiences that will be offered as group events for all interns.
1. Welcome Dinner and Sightseeing at the Peak
Victoria Peak, known locally as The Peak is one of the most popular attractions in Hong Kong. It is the highest point on the island and offers spectacular views of the city’s skyline and surrounding islands. At the top of The Peak are a number of beautiful parks, as well as the spectacular Peak Tower which offers restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the city. The Peak Tower is a stylish architectural icon that has been featured in millions of photographs and postcards across the world.
Elite Intern will provide transportation, and a shuttle will be available to take you between the hotel and The Peak. Upon your arrival at The Peak, we will gather around a table of traditional Chinese cuisine to welcome all of the interns who have joined the Elite Intern Hong Kong Internship Program. After dinner, we’ll head to sky100. Sky100 is a 360-degree indoor observation deck on the 100th floor of the International Commerce Centre where you will experience spectacular views of Hong Kong and surrounding areas.

2. Open Top Tram Tour
You’ll enjoy this interesting and informative tour that gives passengers an introduction to the rich history of Hong Kong. The open top tram tour is a fascinating sightseeing adventure for all visitors. Join your fellow interns on this journey through Hong Kong’s colorful history and modern culture. You’ll ride in a 1920s style open top tram that will provide you with amazing views of the bustling streets, ultra-modern cityscapes, and famous attractions in Hong Kong. The tramway is a living, evolving connection through the city that gives visitors a truly unique view of the “pearl of the orient.”

The tram tour is located just a few minutes away from the intern housing. Elite Intern representatives will meet everyone in the lobby of the hotel so we can walk together to the tram location.
3. Day Trip to Macau
Macau, a former Portuguese colony, is an incredible concoction of colonial reminiscence, Oriental charm and enclave of casinos just an hour ferry ride from Hong Kong.

With approximately 20 ancient monuments and urban squares situated in the centre of the city, the historically-rich district is collectively coined as the "The Historic Centre of Macao" and incorporated to the World Heritage List in 2005. Today, it stands as a living testimony to the co-existence of eastern and western cultures over a ‘one-of-a-kind’ chapter in history. Interns will be able to discover various sites and unveil the glorious stories of the territory’s past.

On the day trip to Macau, our interns will be visiting a selection of the sites. Currently on the World Heritage List, Macau is home to the historical landmarks of A-Ma Temple, Casa Garden, The ‘Cathedral’, The Dom Pedro V Theatre, Guia Fortress, Holy House of Mercy, 'Leal Senado' Building, Lilau Square, Lou Kau Mansion, Mandarin's House, Moorish Barracks, Na Tcha Temple, Protestant Cemetery, Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, and many more. In addition, local delicacies will be tasted along the way. Macanese Cuisine is mainly drawn from inspirations of both Cantonese and Portuguese cuisine, with hints of flavour from Indian and Malay dishes as well, displaying a unique cultural and culinary blend after centuries of colonial rule.
